BOLT Competition Terms & Conditions
STANDARD CONDITIONS
- Competition Name: The name of this competition is as specified in the special conditions (SC1).
- Conditions: Instructions on how to enter and other details contained within promotional advertisements, these standard terms and conditions, plus the special conditions form part of the terms and conditions governing each of the competitions.
- Entry Requirements: To enter these competitions you must comply with the entry requirements set out in the special conditions (SC2).
- Competition Dates: The key competition dates are specified in the special conditions (SC3).
- Prizes: The prizes for each competition are as specified in the special conditions (SC4).
- Draw: The draw for each prize will occur on the date specified in the special conditions (SC3) at Western Power's World of Energy, at 12 Parry Street Fremantle. You do not have to be present to win.
- Notification: The winner(s) will be notified by telephone and mail. The names of the winners will also be published on www.powerkidsclub.com.au.
- No exchange: The prize must be taken "as offered" and cannot be varied or extended or exchanged or redeemed for cash. Prizes involving accommodation, travel, installation or services must be utilised within six months of the draw. Any add-ons by way of additional products or services not included in the prize will need to be arranged and paid for by the winner.
- Unclaimed Prizes: Any unclaimed prizes remain the property of Western Power and/or the prize donor/supplier.
- No correspondence: Western Power's decision regarding the draw and the conduct of the competition will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into.
- Breach: Any breach of the terms and conditions will disqualify an entry unless the breach is, in Western Power's opinion, immaterial or minor.
- Staff Not Eligible: Staff (including contractors) of Western Power and the prize donor/supplier and their associated agencies and immediate family are ineligible to enter this competition.
- Publicity: It is a condition of entry that winners agree to have their names, suburbs and photographs published for publicity purposes, if required. The winners agree to make themselves available for a photo shoot.
- Promoter: The promoter of the competition is Western Power (Electricity Networks Corporation) ABN 18 540 492 861.
- Rule Changes: Western Power reserves the right to alter or amend the competition terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Power Kids’ Club website at www.powerkidsclub.com.au The standard terms and conditions are subject to the special conditions.
- Acceptance: By participating in this competition, participants signify their acceptance of all the terms and conditions.
- Substitute Prize: If the quoted prizes are unavailable for any reason, Western Power reserves the right to offer substitute prizes of equal value.
- No Liability: The winner shall accept all risks associated with the acceptance and use of the prize and Western Power shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising. Any queries or complaints regarding the use or operation of the prize (including warranty claims) should be directed to the prize donor/supplier or manufacturer.
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
SC1. Name of Competition: Bolt Competition.
SC2. Entry Requirements: You must be a member of the Power Kids’ Club and your age must be between four and 12 years old.
SC3. Competition Dates: Entries close at 5.00pm (WST) Friday 23 January 2009. Winners drawn by 5.00pm Tuesday 27 January 2009. Competition results will be published on the Power Kids’ Club website at www.powerkidsclub.com.au
SC4. Prize: There will be five winners. Each winner receives a BOLT movie prize pack which includes an in-season movie pass, fold up frisbee, BOLT notebook and a super bouncy ball.
SC5. Other Special Conditions: The winners will be selected from the Power Kids' Club members who have entered the BOLT Competition published in Power Kids - Issue 4, 2008.
