Vanilla Ice Cream

Follow my recipe to make delicious vanilla ice cream:

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups milk
  • 1¼ cups cream
  • 1 egg (60g)
  • ½ cup caster sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. Process all ingredients in a food processor or blender on low speed until the mixture is smooth and the sugar dissolves.
  2. Place the mixture into a pouring jug or bowl, cover and refrigerate for one to two hours or until completely chilled.
  3. Stir mixture before pouring into a rotating freezer bowl. Process until the desired consistency is achieved.
