Baked Apple Ravioli

Baked Apple Ravioli

Quantity: Makes 9 to 10 ravioli
Ravioli
Ingredients
- 2 sheets of puff pastry (semi frozen is best)
- 4 Pink Lady apples, cored and cut into small cubes
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
Utensils
- 1 large oven baking tray lined with Glad Bake paper
- 2 medium sized mixing bowls
- 1 mixing spoon
- 1 table or soup spoon
- 1 whisk
Method
- Pre heat your oven to 200°C.
- Cut pastry into 9 equal squares.
- Mix together the sugar, vanilla and cinnamon with the apple.
- Place a full tablespoon of apple mixture in the middle of the pastry.
- Fold the pastry over, then seal by pressing edges together firmly.
- Place on prepared oven baking tray.
- Put in the oven to bake until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before glazing.
Royal lemon glazing
Ingredients
- ½ cup of icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Combine with a whisk to a thickish consistency.
- Once the ravioli has cooled down, drizzle some glaze over before serving.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream … yumm!!
